Meet the Team

David Jacobson, Director

Trace is led by David Jacobson, a real estate development executive with more than 15 years of hands-on experience managing complex mixed-use projects, and building teams and processes for some of the largest and most active developers in the region. With a background in Architecture, David brings clarity, knowledge and passion to each stage of the development process, from concept to construction completion.

Allison Jewell, Corporate Controller

Allison overseas accounting, tax and treasury for Fabric and Trace. She began her accounting career at PwC Vancouver in the Asset Management and Real Estate group. Upon obtaining her CPA, she left PwC to work as a Corporate Controller for major Vancouver real estate firms, gaining valuable industry experience in both residential and commercial real estate.

Emily Ng, Development Manager

Emily is involved in all aspects of Trace’s work program, working directly with our clients, consultants and municipal Staff contacts. Emily is a real estate development professional who has spent over 10 years working on a wide range of real estate development projects in British Columbia for some of Vancouver’s top-tier real estate developers.

Sam Thrupp, Development Analyst

Sam Thrupp is a real estate and development consultant with over 8 years’ experience providing advice to all tiers of government, institutional investors, and private developers. Sam’s expertise in this area involves a range of advisory services across traditional real estate assets including office, industrial, and residential. At Trace, Sam utilizes his expertise in market analysis and financial modelling to apply a quantitative approach to project feasibility.
